TriMemphre Triathlon de Magog

Last weekend, Magog, Quebec played host to the Junior-Elite Canadian Championships.

Danae raced well. She was aggressive in the swim to come out just behind the first group, tried to keep pushing on the technical bike course, and raced to the line on the run narrowly beating competitors. Danae was 13th overall at the national championship with a time of 1:09!

Magog also hosted an open sprint triathlon which tempted Pat and Ross into the competition. Pat, with some racing experience this year in Sydenham, picked up his pace after the swim through the event and finished in 1:26 for a great 5th place in his age group. Ross returned to racing this year with good health and building training as he felt ready for the sprint triathlon at Magog. He had a good swim and worked consistently for the rest of the race to finish 3rd in his age group, with a time of 1:39.
